How it’s performed
Anesthetic drops are applied first, ensuring the surgery is painless.
The procedure begins with a precise laser creating a small ‘flap’ in the cornea, which is gently folded back to expose the inner tissue.
An excimer laser then shapes the corneal tissue, correcting for distance vision in the dominant eye, and near vision in the other.
The flap is then closed, protecting the eye like a bandage.
The laser steps take seconds per eye; the whole visit is usually under a couple of hours including prep and post-operation checks.
SMILE PRO® (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction)

How it’s performed
Anesthetic drops are applied first, ensuring the surgery is painless.
The procedure begins with a precise laser creating a tiny disc of tissue (lenticule) inside the cornea, along with a small keyhole incision — all in about 10–15 seconds per eye.
The surgeon removes the lenticule through the tiny incision. This changes the shape of your cornea, correcting the refractive error (myopia or astigmatism).
The incision heals naturally, without stitches, and the whole procedure takes around 15 minutes for both eyes.
