EyeHub’s now in Noosa!
You should not have to move cities to access specialist refractive care. EyeHub extends its care to people across the Sunshine Coast and other regions, with our new consulting rooms in Noosaville, in addition to the laser vision correction and cataract care with our Cataract & Laser Vision Specialist, Dr Sonia Moorthy, at our Buderim facility.
This guide covers where we see you, how the assessment procedure works if you are travelling in, and the fee table we publish. It is not a guarantee of suitability.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks.

Travelling in: a practical plan
- Free online video assessment: useful if you live far away and want to sort history and goals first.
- In-person assessment: $100 deposit, redeemable against your surgery; refunded if you are unable to proceed for medical reasons. Allow time for dilated drops and diagnostics; arrange a driver if advised.
- Meet Dr Moorthy: you will discuss your options together. There is no charge for this. Once you are happy with the plan, we can book your surgery. A $2,000 deposit is required at the time of booking, with final payment due one week before surgery.
- Surgery planning: from first call to surgery takes about two weeks, subject to clinical readiness and scheduling.
- Reviews: 12 months of aftercare and reviews are part of our published packages.

Dry Eye Spa
Dry eye is common and can affect comfort and how clearly you see day to day. In our Dry Eye Spa, we offer IRPL, a light-based treatment, along with a range of other in-clinic dry eye treatments for suitable patients. Treatment plans are tailored after an assessment. Results vary, and Dr Moorthy will discuss suitability and any risks with you at your appointment.
Comfort: most people describe a slight pressure. We do not promise pain-free surgery or perfect outcomes.
Paying and health funds
Card, bank transfer and listed third-party options (MediPay, Afterpay, Zip, TLC): see our payment plans page. EyeHub is not a credit provider. Medicare does not fund elective laser. Private funds may contribute, so check with your fund.
